The Cloud: Stop-Motion
I learned a lot of wisdom about stop-motion animation doing this project; like "take lots more pictures," and "use a tripod that stays still." The next project for this class (Experimental Animation) is Puppetry. Get excited. Also, I'm continuing this animation for my final (and hopefully sprucing it up a little bit).

Refined Hair
So this still needs an actual ballerina bun added to it, but I was able to adequately smooth and hide the ends of the follicles/curves inside her skull. And her hair line will be manicured, shortly. The first image looks better since the second one is still holding onto a few flyaways. I want to add in looser hair, but it will need to look intentional :) Just wanted to post the bit of progress I made. I'm learning a lot!
Updated Threadless Design
Version2. The rays will still be in UV Color Change ink, but there won't be anything printed on the back. I tried to incorporate more big-medium small, simplify the rays, and completely redo the shape of the clouds.
This design is being critiqued on the Threadless site right now. If you have time, I'd love for you to leave a critique there. Gracias.

Ballerina-Bun, Part 1
Finished this step of the process on Monday. It took four hours! Yeah, four hours just to pull the hair back like you would for a pony tail. What makes it so tedious is that you're constantly going back over your work; you pull it back and it penetrates the scalp; you pop it out of the scalp again and it's flying away, still.
Next, I have to make the actual bun in a new hair system, which will hide the ends of the pulled back hair. This was pretty exciting for me (!), and despite it's painstakingly repetitive and unwieldy nature, I loved it. I skipped food for it.
Needless to say, it still needs some finessing, since its not smooth enough in several places, and a whole bunch of fly-aways. I'll be talking to my hair-expert friends for some pointers.

Threadless Design 1: Ideas for Image Title, Anyone?
This might look familiar...
I'm submitting this design to Threadless on Monday. The rays of sunshine will be printed in UV Color Change ink, so that when you're indoors, you see the white of the t-shirt with only the cloud and sun showing. BUT, when you step outside...bing!! Sunshine all over your shirt!
Above: indoors.
Below: outdoors.
And...the back (outdoors).
PLEASE critique, or suggest a title! The design will be up for scoring Monday thru the next Monday, once I submit it. Also, I was sick this Wednesday through Friday, but I believe four images makes up for four days (including today). Thanks for checking this out!
