Disneyland in a Week!

A week from today my whole family is going to Disneyland, except that my husband won't be able to make it, which is a bummer. So below is a letter I wrote to my niece, Eva.

Eva and I don't get to see each other as often as we'd like, but she likes to draw, and so do I. So this is my first art-pen-pal to her, full of all the note-writing techniques dear to junior high. Hopefully there will be many more of these in the future :)

Speed Paint: Taxi Driver

I'm working on increasing my art speed. So here's the first in an ongoing series of speed paints from classic film. Helps my speed, helps my cinematography, helps my knowledge of film. This one took 40 minutes. Did I mention I'm slow?
