The Cloud: Stop-Motion

The Cloud: Stop-Motion Test1 from Lauren Taylor on Vimeo.

I learned a lot of wisdom about stop-motion animation doing this project; like "take lots more pictures," and "use a tripod that stays still." The next project for this class (Experimental Animation) is Puppetry. Get excited. Also, I'm continuing this animation for my final (and hopefully sprucing it up a little bit).

In Development: Stop-Motion Project

"AGHH!"

I'm working on a stop-motion piece for my experimental animation class. I have a lot left to build, film, edit, etc.

The best thing I've built so far: miniature red converses.

And here are the bunnies.

I hope I can make this work!

Hair Animation Final

Ok! Finished! I colored it in and added some shine. It would be really great to add in some pieces that fully break away, but deadlines own the art world. After trying out flash, I'll never be the same.

Hair Anim, round 2

Small Hair Animation

This is a small animation I've started. It's just exploring how hair moves when someone turns their head quickly. I still have to draw in the flick of the hair and the way it settles at the end. And this is the first flash animation I've ever done. So at least I'm learning new things! I'll update the blog with my final animation (it's due by Monday morning).

Also, this post counts for last night. I forgot the hfac closes at 11, NOT midnight. Expect another post later today!
